The summer program is now over and most of the students have gone back to their home towns for the rest of the summer. I am going to miss them all so much, they are amazing people and true friends.
Now I have a little over a couple weeks before my friend comes to Seoul and we tour together. Time to make more memories! After I came back from the library Amanda was in my room crying saying James and Toby got in a fight with Jane, and they both said some insulting things. So Minnie went into Janes room while I took a shower, got in my PJs, and got all ready for bed.
Then Amanda and Minnie came in saying Jane wanted me to go talk to Toby and James and try to ease the tension so she can apologize. So I looked a mess, my pjs, no makeup and I had my crazy skin stuff plus my hair was wet. So I put on a hat and went down with Jane Amanda and Minnie to go to talk to the guys. I opened the door and surprise!! Then I tried to run haha I looked a mess I needed to put on something decent. Of course they all caught me and dragged me into the room. Then we sang happy birthday, opened gifts, and ate delicious white chocolate cake. It was my first ever surprise party! I was very very happy and I am going to miss all of these lovely people. <3 In Korea drinking is a big part of their culture; from soju and beer to bubble tea and coffee. Every where you look there will be a cafe somewhere.
This cafe was the set of my favorite korean drama called Coffee Prince. It is located in Hongdae which is the university area. I got an iced green tea which was delicious. However the prices are very expensive and are aimed at tourists who have seen the drama. I'm glad that I get to see a bit of the country side before I go to Seoul in 4.5 weeks. It is very peaceful and green here which I like.
